These are the days for getting-in on lots of “Quickies”.  Everyone likes a quickie.  July brings all of us here on the shores of Lake Michigan the perfect elements – the warm breezes, the high sun, a little rain every couple of days.  These are the days to get out of the house for a quickie here and there.  There are so many blooms “happening” everyday this month, timing is fantastic for a quickie today.

Peony's Envy 3.0 2016

Each year here in the Gardens at Waters East it is so easy to see the envy in the eyes of visitors during the month of June.  This past month was no exception.  It was apparent the level of envy  - Peony’s Envy - when viewing the fantastic colorful and really big blooms.  As the saying goes – size matters!  I can testify to that – and so can the visitors who walked the paths last month.  Need I say more?

If you have Peony’s Envy you may want to turn away.  You might rate this as only suitable for mature audiences.
